Hannah Shaw named as Hospitality Professional of the Year
Hannah Shaw who manages the venue space in Stockport Homes’ head office Cornerstone, has been named Hospitality Professional of the Year at the Made in Manchester Awards.
The Made in Manchester Awards celebrate the brightest and best of Manchester's young business talent, across 17 categories.
Hannah was awarded the award for her passion and dedication to growing the venue space and delivering high-quality customer service.
Hannah helped generate over £62,000 for the business by building and maintaining relationships in the community and across Greater Manchester. Alongside this the venue space provided over £15k in free space for community groups, allowing customers of SHG to learn new life skills, take part in employment training sessions, and help the local community to thrive.
It means so much to win this award, not just for myself but the venue also. A lot of the work we do is community focussed and all revenue is regenerated back into the borough. I take so much pride in being a welcoming and friendly face to everyone who walks through our door and has put a lot of time into building strong relationships with customers and clients, so to win this award and be recognised for this is a true honour.
