SHG Appoints Three New Chairs for Its Boards
Stockport Homes, SKylight and Viaduct Housing Partnership each celebrate the appointment of new Chairs for their Boards, each bringing years of specialised experience to their roles.
At Stockport Homes, Steve Partridge steps into the Chair role with a 30-year background in housing finance and planning. Known for prioritising resident voices, Partridge’s leadership is poised to strengthen SHG’s service delivery and community engagement.
Marie Gilluley now leads Skylight, drawing from over three decades in educational leadership. Her strategic insights aim to deepen community impact through accessible programs and services.
Alistair Chapman, as Chair for Viaduct Housing Partnership, adds a wealth of property development experience. His focus is on expanding affordable housing and ensuring long-term sustainability.
Each Chair is committed to enhancing their organisation's roles in improving local lives and advancing impactful housing and support initiatives.
I am delighted to become Chair and look forward to working closely with the Board and colleagues at SHG to ensure customers are at the heart of service delivery, and that the organisation continues to learn from feedback, innovate, and maximise opportunities that contribute to the Borough.
Steve Partridge Chair of the Board
I am delighted to take on the role of Chair at SKylight Board. I look forward to working closely with the Board, leadership team, and our local partners to ensure that SKylight continues to create lasting impact and empower individuals in our community.
Marie Gilluley, Chair of SKylight Board
I am delighted to be the next Chair and utilise my sector knowledge and passion for affordable housing and the Borough. The housing shortage in the UK is at an all-time high, and we have the opportunity to develop new homes and help to increase supply when it is needed the most.
