Ten years ago, on a modest modular housing site on Adswood Road in Cheadle Hulme, a new kind of partnership put down its first foundations. Viaduct Housing Partnership was launched in 2016, bringing together Stockport Council and Stockport Homes Group (SHG) with a single, ambitious aim: to build more affordable homes for the people of Stockport.
