Stockport Homes Group has been shortlisted for two awards at The Safety & Health Excellence Awards; Marketing Campaign of the Year and Health and Safety Manager.

SHG (Stockport Homes Group) has been nominated for the Marketing campaign of the year for their ‘Never Miss a Near Miss Campaign’ - increasing the number of near misses reported by over 100% in the first 6 weeks, compared to the entire previous year. The Health and Safety Team partnered with Marketing to create a series of QR codes, stickers and postcards now widely used across the organisation.  

Steve Wild has also been nominated for ‘Best Health & Safety Manager of the Year.’ Steve brings knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to his role. He’s made significant contributions to the implementation and enhancement of health, safety and wellbeing standards for the Stockport Homes Group.
