Stockport Homes Group has been Highly Commended in the Landlord of the Year category at the North West Energy Efficiency Regional Awards 2021. The category celebrates organisations that deliver excellent services to ensure tenants are happy, healthy and safe in the comfort of their own home.

Their Energy Advice team were able to adapt and innovate their delivery throughout the recent pandemic, ensuring customers and their most vulnerable tenants had consistent communication and accessible support around the clock. Between April and September, Stockport Homes Group were able to save customers over £7,730, contacting 600 prepayment customers and receiving 264 referrals.

Stockport Homes Group were also nominated for the vulnerable customer award at this year’s ceremony, taking place at the Drop Village Hotel & Spa, Bolton on the 3^rd November. The award highlights a commitment to transforming lives through energy efficiency, but unfortunately the team didn’t take home first prize this time round.
