Stockport Homes wins Best Retrofit at the Northern Housing Awards

Stockport Homes Group (SHG) have won a prestigious award for ‘Best Retrofit Programme’ at the Northern Housing Awards, which took place last night.

SHG won the award for its ‘Homes as Energy Systems’ project, which is match funded by European Regional Development Fund and is one of the largest collaborative low carbon projects in the Northwest.

This a great example of cross team and collaborative working within the organisation with the Asset Team, Investment Team, and the Energy Team, all working together to meet one goal.

The project will see over 700 energy efficiency measures installed which will improve the efficiency of homes and will generate savings for customers.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this project, the teamwork and dedication means customers across Stockport are going to save money on Energy costs and will have more energy efficient homes. This is a huge achievement, and you should all be very proud.
