We’re pleased to share that Stockport Homes Group (SHG) is in discussions with the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) about an exciting new partnership to operate the coffee shop at its HQ, Cornerstone, as Nineteen38 Coffee @The Windmill.

RVS is one of the UK’s largest charities and has supported communities since 1938, with profits helping to support the NHS and local communities. It operates more than 100 cafes and shops across the UK, both in NHS settings and other locations with its Nineteen38 Coffee brand. With a mission of mobilising volunteers for a better Britain, staff in all cafes and shops are supported by volunteers.

We’ll continue working together over the coming weeks to finalise the arrangements, with the aim of opening in January 2027. Look out for further updates as plans progress.
